Bellvitge University Hospital organizes the XIII Spanish-French Meeting on Nuclear Medicine

The main topics of discussion at these meetings were the current status of diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma and the diagnosis of movement disorders (Parkinson’s disease).

The sessions began with a discussion of the importance of the initial staging of lymphoma and the differences in protocol between France and Spain in the diagnosis and staging.

They also explained the different points of view of the nuclear medicine specialist and the hematologist when approaching the different types of lymphoma, and was also evaluated the importance of technology in the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of lymphoma.

Finally, a survey on the use of radioisotopic examinations of the adrenergic system in the diagnosis of movement disorders was presented, which analyzed the situation in Spain and France and defined the scope of use in each country .
